Turkiye's Borsa Istanbul up at Tuesday close

ANKARA (AA) - Turkiye's benchmark stock index ended Tuesday at 1,969.91 points, up 1.22% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,969.13 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 23.72 points from Monday's close of 1,946.19 points.

The price of an ounce of gold was $1,930 by market close, up from 1,907.30 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $104.41 per barrel with a 6.5% gain as of 6.25 p.m. local time (1525GMT).
