ANKARA (AA) - Coronavirus infections in Turkiye on Monday fell below the 1,000 mark for the first time since August 2020, the first year of the pandemic, the Health Ministry announced.

On the landmark day, the ministry confirmed 922 new COVID-19 infections, three related deaths, and 1,105 recoveries in the last 24 hours. As many as 123,536 tests were conducted.
