Türkiye's foreign trade gap hits $8.8B in November
Exports, imports rise 1.9%, 14%, respectively, year-on-year last month

ISTANBUL (AA) – Türkiye's foreign trade deficit rose 61.6% to $8.8 billion year-on-year in November, official figures showed on Friday.
The country's exports and imports increased 1.9% and 14% to $21.85 billion and $30.65 billion, respectively, in November versus the same month last year.
The export-to-import coverage ratio came in at 71.3% in November, down from 79.8% in November 2021.
In the January-November period, exports totaled $231.25 billion, while imports amounted to $331.09 billion.
The foreign trade deficit was at $99.85 billion in the 11-month period, up 153.6% on an annually basis.
