Türkiye's stock exchange closes Wednesday with gains

ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Wednesday with gains to close at 3,484.42points, up 0.76% or 26.39 points compared to the previous close.

The index's lowest value during the day was 3,433.65, while its daily high was 3,508.46.

The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 2.7 trillion Turkish liras ($149 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 75.2 billion Turkish liras ($4 billion).

The price of an ounce of gold was $1,711.50, while Brent crude oil sold at around $93.34, up 1.68% per barrel, as of 18.08 p.m. local time (1508GMT).

On Wednesday, OPEC+ agreed to cut oil output by 2 million barrels per day starting from November.
