Türkiye's UN envoy meets with UN chief to discuss regional issues
Sedat Onal, Antonio Guterres hold closed-door meeting at UN Headquarters in New York

WASHINGTON (AA) — Türkiye's permanent representative to the UN on Friday discussed regional issues with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
During the closed-door meeting at the UN Headquarters in New York, Ambassador Sedat Onal and Guterres exchanged views on issues related to Ukraine, Cyprus, and Afghanistan, according to Turkish diplomatic sources.
Developments in the Gaza Strip were also on the agenda, the sources said.
