Two PKK terrorists killed in eastern Turkey operation

AGRI, Turkey (AA) - Two PKK terrorists were killed in an operation Wednesday in the Dogubayazit district of the eastern Agri province, officials announced.

According to the Agri Governorship, Turkish security forces carried out an operation in the rural area of the district.

"Two terrorists have been neutralized with their weapons," the statement said.

The PKK – listed as a terrorist organization also by the U.S., and the EU – resumed its 30-year armed campaign against the Turkish state in July last year, since when more than 500 security force members have been martyred and around 4,900 PKK terrorists killed.
