UEFA Nations League: Türkiye to take on Luxembourg in Group 1 Matchday 5

ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye will take on Luxembourg in Group 1 Matchday 5, aiming to reach League B in the UEFA Nations League.

The Crescent Stars, currently undisputed in League C Group 1, will play their 9th game in history against Luxembourg on Thursday, 1845 GMT at the Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadium in Istanbul. Türkiye won seven of the eight clashes against their opponent, while Luxembourg emerged victorious in one.

Türkiye have 12 points against Luxembourg's 7 in Group 1 standings. In the other match of League C Group 1, Lithuania, ranked 4th with no points, will host third-placed Faroe Islands with four points, on Thursday.

Matchday 5 matches in the Nations League will be played from Sept. 22-24.
