LONDON (AA) – Police arrested Friday, two suspects for the murder of 19-year-old Turkish man, who was stabbed multiple times while returning home.
Two teenagers, aged 15 and 19, were arrested at their addresses in Dagenham and Hornchurch in eastern London, a police source said, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on talking to the media.
The source added that their investigations are ongoing in separate police stations over “suspicion of murder”.
First arrests of the crime came around two weeks after the incident.
Police also asked the eye witnesses to contact the security authorities.
Hasan Ozcan, a 19-year-old student, died on Feb. 3 on Abbey Road in Barking, a borough in east London, after being stabbed multiple times.
Family and friends of Ozcan on Feb. 9 called on authorities to bring an end to the 'epidemic' violence, gathering in front of Barking Town Hall.
