UPDATE - 5.4 magnitude earthquake hits western Turkey
No casualties have been reported yet, says governor of Manisa province

ANKARA/IZMIR (AA)- A 5.4-magnitude earthquake hit Turkey's western Manisa province on Wednesday, said Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
Ahmet Deniz, the governor of the province, said there are reports that some of the buildings were damaged but no casualties have been reported yet.
According to AFAD, the quake that occurred at 22.22 p.m. local time (1922GMT) centered off the Akhisar county of Manisa at a depth of 6.98 kilometers (3.58 miles).
The quake was also felt in the western cities of Turkey such as Izmir, Manisa, Aydin and Denizli.
