There has been no claim of responsibility for the attack, which also injured 14 others

AMMAN (AA) – At least six Jordanian soldiers were killed and 14 others injured in a car bomb attack near border with war-torn Syria on Tuesday.
The Jordanian army said in a statement that the bombing struck near a military checkpoint in al-Rukban area near border with Syria.
The statement described the bombing as a “cowardly act”, vowing to pursue the kingdom’s fight against terrorism.
There has been no claim of responsibility for the attack.
The Jordanian television earlier reported that the bombing took place at 5:30 local time near a Syrian refugee camp close to the country's border with Syria.
According to the television, the Jordanian army has launched a manhunt for the attackers and destroyed a number of their vehicles, giving no further details.
