ISTANBUL (AA) - A suspect has been arrested in connection with Sunday's fire in Istanbul that killed four and injured one.

The suspect was arrested in the southern province of Hatay -- some 800 kilometers (about 500 miles) from Istanbul -- over the fire in a five-story building in the city's historic Beyoglu district, said the Istanbul Governor's Office.

Earlier an official source said the cause of the fire was unknown, speaking anonymously due to restrictions on speaking to media.
