UPDATE - Turkish stocks down at Thursday's close
BIST 100 index falls 4.8 points from previous close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index closed at 1,448.52 points on Thursday, down 0.33% from the previous close.
After starting the day at 1,456.00 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index fell 4.78 points from Wednesday's close of 1,453.30 points.
During Thursday trading, the BIST 100 hovered between 1,445.17 points and 1,463.79 points – 24 stocks on the index rose, 73 fell, and three were flat compared to the previous close.
Closing the day with a market value of nearly 1.1 trillion Turkish liras ($130.1 billion), the benchmark index posted a daily trading volume of 12.7 billion Turkish liras ($1.5 billion).
Shares of national flag carrier Turkish Airlines, private lender Garanti BBVA, and petrochemical giant Petkim saw the highest trading volumes.
Stocks of software developer Logo were the top gainers, up 3.55%, while shares of real-estate investment trust ISGYO dropped the most, falling 2.67%.
One ounce of gold traded for $1,788.55 by market close, down from $1,795.90 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $70.39 per barrel as of 6.00 p.m. local time (1500GMT).
