US intelligence community received reports of 366 UFO incidents since March 2021

WASHINGTON (AA) - The Office of the Director of National Intelligence announced Thursday it received 366 reports of UFO incidents since March 2021.

In its annual report on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), the office. said reporting is "increasing, enabling a greater awareness of the airspace and increased opportunity to resolve UAP events."

"These 366 additional reports, when combined with the 144 reports identified in the preliminary assessment, bring the total UAP reports catalogued to date to 510," it said.

The Pentagon's new office, All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), determined that about half of the incidents have "unremarkable characteristics."

Of those cases, 26 are attributed to drones, 163 were characterized as balloon or balloon-like entities, while six were attributed to clutter.

"UAP continue to represent a hazard to flight safety and pose a possible adversary collection threat," it said.
