US stocks higher at opening bell
Dow up 95.56 to 34,315 points

ANKARA (AA) - US stocks opened higher Wednesday amid concerns about a more hawkish Federal Reserve along with turmoil in US bond markets.
The Dow Jones industrial average was up 95.56 points, or 0.28%, to 34,315 while the S&P 500 rose 17.69 or 0.40% to 4,415.
The Nasdaq added 105.66 points, or 0.79%, to 13,477.
The VIX volatility index, known as the fear index, fell 0.86% to 23.40.
Gold climbed 0.30% to $1,982 and sliver also gained 0.45% to 25.85.
Global benchmark Brent crude was trading at $106.40, up 1.59%, while US benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) was at $102 with a 1.33% gain.
US producer prices increased above expectations in March, two months into Russia’s war against Ukraine, according to the US Labor Department.
The producer price index rose 1.4% month-on-month and 11.2% annually in March -- the highest rise since November 2010.
