Wall Street closes mixed with tech loss, bank gains
Microsoft, Alphabet, each lose about 1 percent

NEW YORK (AA) - Wall Street closed mixed Monday as tech stocks suffered losses but banking shares increased.
The Dow rose 14 points to end the day at 21,409 and the S&P added less than a point to 2,439.
The Nasdaq increased 18 points to finish at 6,247.
Shares of Microsoft and Google's parent company, Alphabet, each declined around 1 percent.
But banking giants Goldman Sachs rose 1.5 percent, while JPMorgan Chase increased 0.5 percent.
