ANKARA (AA) - The Golden State Warriors have advanced to the NBA finals after beating the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals.
The Warriors completed the sweep of the Blazers, defeated their opponent 119-117 in overtime to advance to their fifth consecutive NBA Finals.
The game went to overtime after the regular time ended in 111-111.
Stephen Curry and Draymond Green each performed a triple-double in the game for the Warriors. Curry scored 37 points, had 13 rebounds and 11 assists, while Green gained 18 points, with 14 rebounds and 11 assists.
Klay Thompson chipped in with 17 points for his teammates, who pulled another comeback against the Blazers in the series.
The Blazers were up by 11 points with 10 minutes to go in the game, but the Warriors quickly responded and tied the game at 104-104 with 4 minutes to go.
First advancing to the NBA finals in 2015, this year will be Golden State's five years in a row in the finals.
