He called on Turkish investors to make more investments in Zimbabwe and urged more technology transfer from Turkey to Zimbabwe.

Underlining that Zimbabwe is a good touristic spot for Turkish people, Karagoz stressed the need to start direct flights between the two countries.

"We should encourage bigger Turkish companies to invest in your country," Karagoz said.

Ambassador Mutiwazuka, for his part, highlighted the importance of improving relations between the two countries and the key role the media plays in this, especially the Anadolu Agency.

Mutiwazuka said every sector in Zimbabwe is open for business and investors.

The ambassador noted that Turkey is a rising power in Africa and its recognition in Zimbabwe is very high.

"We want to see more Turkish companies and people coming to Zimbabwe," Mutiwazuka added.
