MOSCOW (AA) - One civilian was killed and two injured Tuesday in Ukraine's attack on a Russian temporary accommodation facility in the Belgorod region.
Belgorod region Gov. Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Telegram that the two injured victims are in critical condition in intensive care with one who suffered a penetrating wound to the abdomen and the other a penetrating wound to the chest.
Gladkov said three artillery shells hit residential and administrative buildings of a health resort where residents were moved from settlements located on Ukraine's border because of safety concerns.
Residents were moved to another settlement after the shelling, he said.
Ukrainian armed forces unleashed a series of attacks on Russia's border region in recent months, including Bryansk and Belgorod, which were hit with drones and artillery, and were raided by paramilitary groups.
