19 dead, 16 wounded after 2 residential buildings collapse in Morocco

ISTANBUL (AA) - At least 19 people were killed and 16 others injured when two residential buildings collapsed in northern Morocco in the early hours of Wednesday, according to local media.
Citing local authorities, the official news agency MAP reported that two adjacent four-story buildings, housing eight families, collapsed in the Al-Massira neighborhood of Fes.
No details were provided on the cause of the incident.
The injured were taken to hospital, while nearby homes were evacuated as search and rescue operations continued at the scene, according to the news agency.
