3 arrested following attack at Fort Myers club, local media reports
ANKARA (AA) - Two people were killed in a gun attack on a nightclub in Florida, U.S., local media reported Monday.
The WINK News website said 17 were injured in a shooting at the Club Blu nightclub in Fort Myers.
The shooting follows the killing of 49 people in a June 12 attack on a nightclub in Orlando, Florida, by Omar Mateen, who claimed allegiance to Daesh.
The motive for the Fort Myers shooting was not immediately clear. WINK News said three suspects had been arrested following the 12.30 a.m. local time (1930GMT) incident at the nightclub, which was reportedly holding a teenage party.
