2 killed, 1 injured in Ukraine's drone attack in Russia's Belgorod region

MOSCOW (AA) - Two people were killed and one injured in an attack by Ukrainian drones in Russia's Belgorod region, its governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said.

Three districts suffered from the attack, one drone struck a car, Gladkov said on Telegram.

"In the area of Masychevo hamlet of Graivoron district, as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack on a 'gazelle' vehicle, the driver was killed," he said.

In the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, Shebekinsky district, a man was injured when a drone exploded. The doctors did everything possible, fighting for his life until the last moment, but the injuries turned out to be incompatible with life, he noted.

"Another civilian resident was wounded from an FPV-drone strike on a car in the vicinity of Borki village, Valyujskii district," the governor wrote.

According to Gladkov's statement, the man was transported to the Valuyka Central District Hospital in critical condition. He sustained mine-explosion trauma and penetrating abdominal wounds. The vehicle also suffered damage.
