ATHENS (AA) - Two more bodies were recovered by search and rescue teams from the ferry that caught fire while going from Greece to Italy last Friday, authorities said on Thursday.

Seven people are still missing, the authorities said, adding that the burned-out ferry was towed to the port of Astakos in Etoloakarnania in Western Greece on Wednesday.

Earlier, the rescue teams found the body of a Greek national on Sunday and another body on Wednesday.

The Italian-flagged Euroferry Olympia caught fire on Feb. 18 after setting off from Greece’s western port of Igoumenitsa with 290 passengers and crew members. It was heading to the Italian port of Brindisi, a journey of about nine hours.

So far, 281 people have been rescued, amongst them several Turkish nationals.
