ADIYAMAN, Turkey (AA) - Turkish police on Friday arrested two suspects in southeastern Turkey over alleged links to the PKK terrorist organization, security sources said.
Local gendarmerie forces, in coordination with the chief public prosecutor's office in Adiyaman, held two suspects in the province for allegedly providing financial support to the PKK.
In its more than 35-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US, and EU -- has been responsible for the deaths of at least 40,000 people, including women, children, and infants.
