2 Turkish soldiers martyred in northern Iraq
Another soldier wounded during clash between PKK and Turkish security forces in Avasin-Basyan region

ANKARA (AA) - Two soldiers have been martyred and another soldier was wounded during a clash with PKK terrorists in northern Iraq, according to Turkish military Thursday.
Turkish General Staff said the clash took place in Avasin-Basyan region.
The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the EU and U.S. -- has killed more than 1,200 Turkish security personnel and civilians since taking up arms again.
