Twenty-one stranded Filipino officials arrived Saturday in Manila who were evacuated from Israel, according to media reports.

The group, including four dairy industry specialists from the Agriculture Department, were in Israel for a technology training program from June 10 - 20, the Manila Times reported.

But they were stranded because of the Israel-Iran conflict.

Six more Filipinos crossed the Jordan border on Friday and arrived at the Philippine Embassy.

The Philippines already urged the 30,000 Filipino workers in Israel and 1,200 nationals in Iran to return. Eight Filipinos have been injured in the Iranian attacks in Israel, according to the ABS-CBN news outlet.

Hostilities broke out June 13 when Israel launched airstrikes on several sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes.

Israeli authorities said at least 25 people have been killed and hundreds injured since then in Iranian missile attacks.

Meanwhile, in Iran, 639 people have been killed and more than 1,300 wounded in the Israeli assault, according to Iranian media reports.
