DIYARBAKIR, Turkey (AA) - Three men were shot dead at a polling station in southeastern Turkey on Sunday, a security official said, as the nation voted on constitutional changes.
The victims were identified as 68-year-old Abdulrezzak Yildiz, Seyhmus Yildiz, 32, and Idris Yildiz.
The incident happened in Yabanardi, a village around 80 kilometers (50 miles) west of provincial capital Diyarbakir, at around 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT).
The dispute at a primary school is believed to be related to an ongoing family dispute, the official said on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media.
Two men have been arrested and the Gendarmerie put further security measures in place.
Turkey is voting in a referendum on constitutional changes that would introduce a presidential system of government.
