EDIRNE, Turkey (AA) - Turkish security forces on Friday arrested three PKK terror suspects in the country’s northwestern Edirne province, according to a security source.
The suspects were nabbed in Serem village of Meric district, as they were planning to cross to Greece, said the source who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
The suspects were wanted by Turkish security forces for being members of a terrorist organization.
The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- has waged a terror campaign against Turkey for more than 30 years, resulting in the deaths of nearly 40,000 people, including women and children.
