KILIS, Turkey (AA) - Three Turkish soldiers were slightly hurt following a Daesh attack during the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army operations near Aleppo province’s Al-Bab city in Syria, a hospital source said.
The injured soldiers were taken to a state hospital in southern Kilis province, the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media, said.
Operation Euphrates Shield began in late August to rid Syria's northern border area of terrorists. Wednesday marks the 92nd day of the operation.
Over 215 residential areas, including more than 1,800 square kilometers (694 square miles) of land in northern Syria have been cleared of Daesh terrorists as part of the operation so far.
