4.0-magnitude earthquake jolts Türkiye’s southern Adana province
Quake occurs at depth of 4.2 miles

ANKARA (AA) - A 4.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Türkiye’s southern Adana province late Saturday.
The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) said the quake struck the Yuregir district at a depth of 6.8 kilometers (4.2 miles).
The quake occurred at 10.35 p.m. local time (1935GMT).
The tremor came as Türkiye is dealing with the aftermath of devastating Feb. 6 quakes in the southern region that have claimed more than 47,900 lives.
More than 13 million people in Türkiye have been affected by the powerful quakes that rocked 11 provinces, including Kahramanmaras, Adana, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Elazig and Sanliurfa.
