ANKARA (AA) - Almost 40% of the gas stations in France's Paris region suffer from supply issues, according to media reports.

Partial fuel shortage is continuing in some parts of the country due to the walkouts in oil refineries since March, when workers decided to protest the government's pension reform.

The French daily Le Figaro's statistics showed that 9.7% of stations in France on Tuesday lacked all types of gas, while 10% of the stations in 25 French departments suffered from total or partial shortages.

The Parisian region is the most affected zone with 38% of its gas stations lacking stocks, according to the same source.

The government revealed the reform project in January and parliament started examining and debating the draft bill the following month.

Workers and trade unions have since expressed growing outrage by holding demonstrations and walkouts against the reform which includes raising the retirement age from 62 to 64 by 2030, requiring at least 43 years of work to be eligible for a full pension.
