5 Daesh suspects captured on Turkish-Syrian border

KILIS, Turkey (AA) - Five suspected Daesh terrorists, including one foreign national, were captured Wednesday during two separate operations in Turkey's southeastern Kilis province, the provincial governor’s office said in a statement Thursday.

Turkish armed forces nabbed four suspects as they attempted to cross the Turkish-Syrian border, according to the statement that said a court detained four suspects of Turkish citizenship.

An investigation is ongoing into the foreign national, the statement added.
