54 undocumented migrants held in southern Turkey
6 alleged human traffickers detained

HATAY, Turkey (AA) - Turkish police held 54 undocumented migrants in the southern Hatay province, security sources said Monday.
Anti-human trafficking teams raided an apartment in Odabasi neighborhood in Hatay where the Syrian refugees were held, according to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
Also, six alleged traffickers were detained for organizing the illegal crossing from Turkey into Europe.
Turkey has been a main route for refugees trying to cross into Europe, since the beginning of the civil war in Syria.
