German, Austrian, Swiss nationals among missing, police say

GENEVA (AA) - Eight people are missing after a landslide in small village in southeastern Switzerland, police said Thursday.
German, Austrian and Swiss nationals are among those missing, the Graubunden cantonal police said in a statement.
“Eight people are missing following the landslide in the area of the Val Bondasca and six of these eight people were reported missing by their relatives,” the statement said.
The mountain landslide at around 9.30 a.m. local time (0730GMT) Wednesday led to the evacuation of villages in the Alpine region. No injuries were reported.
