'Active shooter' reported at Florida State University

WASHINGTON (AA) - An active shooter has been reported Thursday at Florida State University's campus in Tallahassee.

"An active shooter has been reported in the area of Student Union," the school said on X.

"Police are on scene or on the way. Continue to seek shelter and await further instructions. Lock and stay away from all doors and windows and be prepared to take additional protective measures," it added.

At least four people are being treated at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, according to the media reports.
