Anadolu Agency head visits agency’s office in Bosnian capital
Serdar Karagoz says he makes his 1st overseas office visit as Anadolu Agency's director-general to Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina (AA) - Anadolu Agency's director-general visited Friday news agency’s office in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo.
Serdar Karagoz was welcomed by Hakan Celik, the editor of the Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian services of the agency.
Karagoz was accompanied by Turkish public broadcaster TRT's Director-General Mehmet Zahid Sobaci and chairman of its board Ahmet Albayrak.
Stressing that he made his first overseas office visit to Sarajevo as the agency's director-general, Karagoz said they aim to bring the perception that Anadolu Agency is "an international news agency headquartered in Turkey," replacing it with the one that it is merely Turkey's news agency.
Anadolu Agency will establish an "Islamophobia Monitoring Unit," Karagoz noted, adding: "We will fight all forms of discrimination, not just Islamophobia."
