ISTANBUL (AA) - Anadolu Agency is here with a rundown of the latest developments around the world.
Hundreds of supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro raided the National Congress in Brazil.
Groups shouting slogans demanding intervention from the army broke through the police barrier and entered the Congress building, according to local media.
Police intervened with tear gas to disperse pro-Bolsonaro protesters.
The US condemned the raids on three government buildings in Brazil by supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro.
"We condemn the attacks on Brazil's Presidency, Congress, and Supreme Court today. Using violence to attack democratic institutions is always unacceptable," said Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Twitter.
Türkiye is resolute to send grain and flour to African countries via the Black Sea grain corridor, said President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
"(Russian President Vladimir) Putin told me: 'I'll give you the grain for free, and you deliver it to poor African countries.' And we say: 'Okay. We'll get this for free from you. Let's turn it into flour in our factories and send it to these poor African countries.' We agreed," Erdogan said at an event in the southern Antalya province.
In July last year, Türkiye, the UN, Russia and Ukraine signed an agreement in Istanbul to resume grain exports from three Ukrainian Black Sea ports, which were paused after the Russia-Ukraine war began in February 2022
Russia said it killed 600 Ukrainian troops in a "retaliatory operation."
The Russian Defense Ministry statement said the retaliatory operation was carried out in response to Ukraine’s missile attack on a temporary barracks for Russian soldiers in the town of Makiivka on New Year's Eve.
