Anadolu's senior journalist awarded in Russia

MOSCOW (AA) - The Religious Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the Council of Muftis of Russia on Tuesday awarded the Medal for Service to Muslims of Russia to the senior correspondent of Turkish global news agency Anadolu.

During the ceremony held at the administration building in the Moscow Central Mosque complex, Ali Cura, Anadolu’s deputy director of Asia and Caucasus News, was presented with the award for his significant contribution to strengthening Russian-Turkish relations and reporting on important events concerning Russian Muslims over the years.

The medal, which bears the signature of Ravil Gaynutdin, chairman of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the Council of Muftis of Russia was presented to Cura by his deputy Rushan Abbyasov.
