Assad’s wife reportedly being treated for breast tumor

IDLIB, Syria (AA) - The wife of Syrian regime leader Bashar al-Assad is being treated for breast cancer, the country’s official SANA news agency reported Wednesday.

Asmaa al-Assad is receiving treatment at a military hospital in the capital Damascus, SANA added.

According to the report, a malignant tumor in the breast was found by doctors at a preliminary stage.
