At least 8 civilians, including child, killed in fresh Israeli strikes on Gaza Strip
Israeli drones target residential apartment, tents for displaced civilians in northern, central parts of enclave, local media reports

ISTANBUL (AA) - The Israeli army killed eight Palestinians and injured many others in the Gaza Strip on early Wednesday, local media reported.
According to the state news agency Wafa, five people were killed in Israeli drone strikes on a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians in al-Nasr Street of northwestern Gaza City.
Israeli drones hit another tent in the vicinity of Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, resulting in the death of a civilian and a number of injuries.
One person lost his life, and others were injured after Israeli fighter jets targeted a residential apartment in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
A Palestinian child was killed and many others were injured in an Israeli drone strike on a tent in Deir al-Balah.
Israel has killed more than 64,600 Palestinians in a brutal offensive in Gaza since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave and pushed the territory’s population into famine.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
