Belarus seeks Guinea-Bissau as new partner for wide-ranging cooperation
‘We are at your service,’ Aleksandr Lukashenko says in talks with Guinea-Bissau president in Minsk

ISTANBUL (AA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed a readiness Wednesday to cooperate with Guinea-Bissau, including in agriculture, defense and trade, during talks with President Umaro Sissoco Embalo in Minsk, according to the state-run BelTA news agency.
“We are at your service,” said Lukashenko, citing Belarus’ technological capacity in agriculture and openness to partnerships. “You can count on us … We are ready to negotiate in all areas, including our military-industrial complex.”
The Belarusian leader offered to supply Guinea-Bissau with a broad range of goods, such as food, clothing, footwear and industrial products, stating that his country is ready to provide technological and technical support.
“We have no closed topics for cooperation. We are ready to negotiate in all areas. Including, if you are interested, our military-industrial complex. In short, Belarus is open to you,” he said.
Embalo expressed a particular interest in Belarus’ experience in agro-industrial development.
