Ten former Croatian soldiers, police investigated over alleged crimes against civilians carried out between 1992-1993

BELGRADE, Serbia (AA) – Ten former soldiers and police officers were detained by Bosnian forces Monday suspected of committing war crimes between 1992 and 1993.

Bosnia and Herzegovina's State Investigation and Protection Agency carried out an operation in the town of Orasje, close to the border with Croatia.

As well as serving as soldiers and police officers, the suspects were also allegedly active in camps and detention facilities.

The suspects were identified as; Duro Matuzovic, 64; Ivo Orsolic, 64; Tado Orsolic, 56; Marko Dominkovic, 54; Joso Nedic, 60; Marko Baotic, 68; Marko Blazanovic, 61; Mato Zivkovic, 52; Anto Zivkovic, 57; and Stijepo Stijepo Djuric, 51.

Monday's detainees will be handed over to the prosecutor’s office after being questioned by police.
