China: Explosion outside US Embassy in Beijing
Local media, eyewitnesses report huge blast in front of embassy in Chinese capital

ANKARA (AA) - An explosion took place outside the U.S. Embassy in China's capital Beijing on Thursday, local media and witnesses reported.
According to eyewitnesses, a huge blast was followed by a cloud of smoke.
It was also reported that the police had surrounded the embassy.
The Chinese police have yet to issue any statement.
The embassy has not confirmed the explosion or any possible cause.
