Chinese premier Li Qiang on Saturday called on the G-20 member states to promote unity, cooperation and inclusion within the bloc.
Speaking to the G-20 summit in New Delhi, Li also urged the member states to stick to the original aspiration of unity and cooperation and shoulder the responsibility of the times for peace and development, the state-run Xinhua News reported.
He represented his country in the G-20 summit as the Chinese President Xi Jinping skipped the meeting.
Li in his address focused on the global economic recovery and urged the participants to promote economic globalization and jointly work to maintain the stability and smoothness of industrial and supply chains.
"The G20 members should also work together to protect the earth's green home, promote green and low-carbon development, protect the marine ecological environment, and be partners in promoting global sustainable development," the agency quoted Li as saying.
