CORRECTS BARCELONA'S LEAD TO 12 POINTS

ANKARA (AA) - Arsenal are on a seven-win streak in the English Premier League, while Napoli maintain their 16-point lead in the Italian Serie A despite a 0-4 loss to AC Milan.

Barcelona are 12 points ahead of Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga, while Bayern Munich got a vital 4-2 victory against Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga. Paris Saint-Germain remain in a six-point lead despite their second loss in a row in week 29 of the French Ligue 1.


- English Premier League

English Premier League leaders Arsenal beat Leeds United 4-1 at home.

Arsenal, who got their seventh consecutive win in the league, will take on Liverpool next week.

Manchester City, which are among the major contenders in the league, beat Liverpool 4-1 at home.

At the end of week 29 in the Premier League, Arsenal, continued to lead with 72 points, followed by Manchester City with 64 points (one game to play), Newcastle United with 50 points (two games to play), and Manchester United (two games to play).


- Spanish La Liga

In week 27 of the Spanish La Liga, leaders Barcelona defeated Elche 4-0 in an away game.

Lazio, who are in the league's second spot, defeated Monza 2-0 away, with the difference in points between the Rome club and leaders Napoli narrowing to 16.

At the end of week 28, leaders Napoli have 71 points and are followed by Lazio with 55 points, Milan with 51 points, and Inter with 50 points.


- German Bundesliga

Bayern Munich got a vital 4-2 win against Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga.

Thomas Tuchel, who replaced former head coach Julian Nagelsmann, made his debut for Bayern Munich.

At the end of week 26, Bayern Munich, with 55 points, was followed by Borussia Dortmund with 53 points, Union Berlin with 51 points, Freiburg with 47 points, and Leipzig with 45 points.


- French Ligue 1

In the last match of week 29 in the French Ligue 1, Olympqiue Lyon defeated Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 1-0.

With this result, defending champions PSG suffered their second consecutive defeat in the league.

Lens defeated Rennes 1-0 away, while Olympic Marseille drew 1-1 with Montpellier.

At the end of week 29, PSG took the top spot with 66 points. Lens and Olympic Marseille were behind the Parisians with 60 points.
