Croatia, Spain to vie for 2023 UEFA Nations League title Sunday

Final at Rotterdam's Feyenoord Stadium to start at 1845GMT

ANKARA (AA) - Croatia will face Spain in Sunday's 2023 UEFA Nations League final in the Netherlands' Rotterdam.

Croatia reached their first-ever Nations League final after securing a 4-2 victory in the extra time against hosts Netherlands on Wednesday.

The 2021 runners-up, Spain beat Italy 2-1 on Thursday thanks to a late winner scored by Joselu to bag the ticket to the 2023 final.

UEFA's biennial international football competition, the Nations League, which was launched in 2018, was previously won by Portugal in 2019, and France in 2021.

This year's final at Rotterdam's Feyenoord Stadium will start at 1845GMT, and will be officiated by German referee Felix Zwayer.

Sunday will also see the third-place playoff between the Netherlands and Italy at Enschede's Twente Stadium. The game will kick off at 1300GMT.
