Israeli deadly strikes on Palestinians amid ongoing genocide in Gaza

Latest developments as Israel continues its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, violating the ceasefire agreement with the Palestinian group Hamas.

On Friday, at least 15 Palestinians were killed as Israeli airstrikes targeted parts of the Gaza Strip, with one deadly strike on a home in Khan Younis, killing 10 members of the Al-Farra family, including women and children.

Israeli army also on Friday reissued evacuation warnings to residents of seven neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City, threatening military strikes in those areas.

Reactions and developments on new Egyptian proposal for ceasefire between Israel and Hamas

Developments and reactions regarding a new Egyptian ceasefire proposal aimed at ending the ongoing Israeli devastating onslaught against the Gaza Strip.

Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said on Friday Egyptian and Qatari efforts are continuing on a daily basis to broker a ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

On Thursday evening, Israeli media reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed a new Egyptian proposal for a prisoner exchange with Hamas during a briefing session that included Israel’s negotiation team and heads of security agencies.

According to Channel 12 sources, the Egyptian proposal includes “the release of eight living Israeli hostages in exchange for a 50-day ceasefire.”

Hamas group is yet to comment on the leaked proposal.

US, Houthi group reciprocal attacks

RSF deadly attacks on civilians amid ongoing clashes with Sudanese army

The security and humanitarian situation in the northern African country of Sudan as the army recaptures more areas in the capital Khartoum from the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

At least 25 more civilians were killed in an attack by the RSF on the Zamzam displacement camp in El-Fasher in North Darfur state, according to a local committee on Friday.

Gabon to hold 1st presidential election after 2023 coup

Gabonese voters to cast their ballots in the country’s first presidential election since the 2023 military coup. Coup leader and transitional President Brice Oligui Nguema, who ousted President Ali Bongo in August 2023, is the favorite among eight candidates. The election aims to end military rule in Gabon.
