Depay signs for remainder of current season with 2 more seasons

ANKARA (AA) - Dutch attacker Memphis Depay joined Atletico Madrid from Barcelona, the Madrid club announced on Friday.

The 28-year-old signed for the remainder of the season and two more seasons, according to the statement.

The presentation for Depay will be held at Civitas Metropolitano on Friday, the club statement added.

Memphis, who previously played for Manchester United and PSV Eindhoven, joined Barcelona from Olympique Lyonnais in July 2021, to score 14 goals and make two assists in 42 appearances.

He helped Manchester United bag the 2016 FA Cup and 2017 UEFA Europa League titles.

The Dutch international netted 43 times in his 86 caps.
