Egypt rejects any solution involving relocating Palestinians to Sinai, rebuffing Trump's proposal

ISTANBUL (AA) – Egypt on Sunday made clear its rejection of US President Donald Trump’s call to relocate the Palestinians from Gaza to Egypt and Jordan.

Egypt “cannot be part of any solution involving the transfer of Palestinians into Sinai,” Egypt’s Embassy to the United States said on X.

​​​​​​​Describing Gaza as a "demolition site," Trump on Saturday said “we (should) just clean out” the Palestinian enclave and resettle Palestinians in Jordan and Egypt.
