Eintracht Frankfurt shock Bayern Munich 2-1 in away match

Visitors rally from 1-0 deficit against Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena

ANKARA (AA) - Bayern Munich were stunned 2-1 by Eintracht Frankfurt in a German Bundesliga match Sunday at Munich's Allianz Arena.

The home team scored the opening goal in the 29th minute as Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka took a low shot to beat Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.

In the 32nd minute, Eintracht Frankfurt defender Martin Hinteregger put the ball into Bayern Munich’s net with a header from a corner to equalize.

Near the end of the match, Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Filip Kostic scored the winning goal at a tight angle in the box.

Eintracht Frankfurt came from a 1-0 deficit against Bayern Munich to grab the narrow win.

Bayern Munich are leading the Bundesliga table with 16 points in seven matches. They are still on top by goal difference.

Bayer Leverkusen are in second position with 16 points.

Borussia Dortmund are third in the standings with 15 points.

Fourth-place Freiburg have 15 points as well.
