Envelope containing suspicious white powder sent to Greek main opposition party

ANKARA (AA) - An envelope containing a suspicious white powder was sent to Greek main opposition SYRIZA-PS party’s headquarters in Athens, according to media reports on Tuesday.

The fire and police departments rushed to the scene after authorities were notified by the party’s officials, said the Avgi newspaper.

The envelope, which did not have information about the sender, was given to police for further inspection, it added.​​​​​​​
